Composer Morton Stevens wrote the most famous eight trumpet notes in TV history...da da dada da daaa, dada dada da...which played over the opening credits displayed on top of a towering Waimea Bay wave which introduced mainland America to HAWAII FIVE-O. Steve Mcgarrett (Jack Lord) and his young officer friend Danny Williams "Danno" (James MacArthur) along wtih their three other colleagues fought international spies and assorted bad guys each week. Now for the first time, you can own a little piece of law enforcement TV history. These are NOT the cheap, crappy bootleg badges you have been seeing for years on eBay. These are genuine Blackinton HIGLO and RHOGLO badges and each is engraved with it's own individual serial number. The badges are officially licensed EXCLUSIVELY for Kokopelli Traders by the original prop-master that created the original badge. ONLY 100 total HIGLO (gold) and 100 total RHOGLO (silver) badges will be produced using the new custom die produced just for this badge issue. This listing is for the 1970's ORIGINAL DIE silver badge version with the ENGRAVED "FIVE-O" panel, (the way the badge was originally produced per the Jack Lord Prototype).
